Having a chilled fruit juice after that hard and intense workout session can be the best drinks at the time. It can help you restore your energy and make you chilled as well, and you are putting good ingredients into your body. So, everything sounds cool, right!
Well, there’s a “BUT.” There’re certain significant things that you should know about juicing. Have you ever thought consuming a juice having the extract of many fruits can be harmful in particular cases? Take apple and bananas in the same juice, for example. They aren’t actually helpful.
Most of the fruits contain fructose. So, juicing releases pretty good amount of fructose into the body’s systems. Now, the extra amount of fructose in the body can turn into cholesterol, fatty acids, and triglycerides, which ultimately get deposited as fat, causing risk of diseases like diabetes. So, you just ruined your workout. You did lose some fat by tiring workout, and consumed it afterward by consuming a chilled tasty fruit juice that has the wrong combination of ingredients in it.
So, the thought of “I don’t need to research about what fruits should I use to make my post-workout fruit juice, all fruits are good, so let me put in whatever I get close to hand”-is terribly wrong.
I’ve given some juicing recipe below, to make a fruit juice having right combination of ingredients. You can make yourself a great drink for a post workout that is both tasty and healthy, following one of those recipes.
Oh, to mention, I use my manual hand press juicer to make all my juices. They’re pretty useful and cheap. You can buy yourself one if you don’t have one.
